Police say the suspects started their crime spree in the 5500 block of Alice Street when they threatened another 67-year-old man with baseball bats and stole his car. They threatened to shoot the victim with a handgun before taking off in his car and a getaway vehicle. A short time later video from the parking garage shows the suspects pulling a 67-year old man from his car and assaulting him as they go through his pockets. Surveillance video released by Hammond police shows two suspects lingering by an elevator. Police believe a group of five young men is responsible for a crime spree in Indiana that started early Tuesday morning and left some patrons at the Horseshoe Casino questioning their safety.
